Contrary to the WRVU show schedule, The Switch Is NOT On Thursdays from 10AM-12PM.
Actually, you can hear the show on FRIDAYS FROM 10AM-12PM. We figure that we'll still be helping you wake up since 10 seems a much more reasonable hour for rising during the summer months (unless you have a job or something...sucks).
Tune in!
(If we get dorky and the 8-10 AM slot is still open we might come in early or something)

More Hot Gossip!
Last night Ray Price had a concert at the Ryman Auditorium. He's pretty old now, but at the whopping age of 82 he's still touring and pleasing his listening audience. He did not, however, please the employees of the Mother Church. Mr. Price had a two hour long set from 8:30 to 10:30pm. Half way through his set he decided to take an unplanned intermission. As his elderly audience made their way out of the auditorium to stretch their legs, the employees could only wonder why.
If you've ever been to a Ray Price concert, have you ever wondered why his eyes get red and puffy toward the end of his show? Maybe he gets emotional during his performances... maybe not. Have you ever wondered why he takes intermissions during his sets? Maybe it's because he's old and needs a little 15 minute break... maybe not. The real answer is that Ray Price likes to have a little quality time with the Doobies, and by doobies I don't mean the 70s rock duo.

Ow.
This is what I had to listen to all night.
I honestly just don't understand the appeal. It sounds like this man has a cold or something. WTF.

Phoenix
I like Phoenix, and I especially like their album, It's Never Been Like That. I'm not really sure why I like it so much; probably the main reason is because I can listen to this album the whole way through without getting tired of it. The music itself isn't that new or exciting, but the songs are well-crafted and perfect for long drives in the winter. Check this video out.
